Irvine, California, May 9, 2006- Innovate Media today announced the addition of an Art Director to their team, Peter L. Pillsbury. He brings extensive experience to the agency, with over 20 years of experience in computer graphics and 2 years of experience as the 3D Creative Designer with Martin Brinkerhoff & Associates.
Pillsbury has worked with clients such as Disney, MGM, Kodak, Warner Bros, Microsoft, Sony, Honda, Universal, and many more.
Pillsbury graduated at the top of his class, in 1996, from the Art Institute of Colorado with a B.A. in Computer Animation. Throughout his collegiate years he remained on the quarterly deans list and received the Portfolio Par Excellence Award.
In 2001, Pillsbury moved to Burbank, Ca, where he became the Creative Director and Animation Designer for Media Island Post. During his stay at MIP, Pillsbury directed and managed creative teams including producers, artists, designers, and writers. He was the High Definition Editor and Animation Compositor for clients including: Disney, WB, MGM, and Universal. His duties included: designing and authoring of interactive feature length DVDâs with motion menu screens, creating animations for major film studios, and designing websites.
