Exit Exchange
An arrangement between two or more sites
in which each site shows advertisements
for other sites in exchange for the
others doing the same.

Free For All links. These are places
that allow anyone to add a link.
Hot Linking
Process by which one links to an image
stored on one site yet it appears on
one or more other sites. If done without
permission, this is considered unethical
since one is using bandwidth they are
not paying for.
Inbound Link
Links pointing to a website. When a
user arrives at a website from another
site, that link is called an Inbound
Link.
Link Text
The text that is contained within a
link. For example, search engine is
a link that contains the link text "search
engine."
